What we collect
When you sign in, Google provides your verified email address, name, and profile image. We also collect the borrower name, phone number, team name, residential address, hardware choices, and any event-specific agreement fields that you submit.
Why we need it
These details allow the event team to prepare your loan agreement, identify who is responsible for borrowed equipment, contact you about a device loan, and track collection and return.
Address verification
Your address is sent to Google Address Validation to check its completeness and residential classification. This checks the address; it does not prove that you live there. You confirm that it is your residential address before submitting. After five unsuccessful checks, including checks of different addresses, you may continue with staff review at pickup. The address remains unverified until staff review it; collection requires staff approval.
What is saved
HackerSquad stores the details you submit, the verified address when available, validation results or failure reasons, your Google email, the exact contract version, the generated PDF, and the submission date and time. Staff actions on the checkout are recorded. Completing this form does not electronically sign the agreement. Staff address reviews record the reviewer, time, decision, evidence type and a short note. This app does not collect copies of identity documents.
Who can access it
You can view your own agreements. Authorized HackerSquad administrators and staff assigned to the event can access submissions to administer device loans. Agreements are not publicly accessible.
Questions and data requests
Contact adam@hackersquad.io about your information, a correction, or a deletion request. Submitted agreements are preserved as originally generated; ask the organizer about corrections before collecting hardware.
